Espresso is an excellent site which has news, videos and interactive activities on a range of subjects at Foundation Level and at Key Stages 1 & 2.

There are interactive games, activities and ideas to suit all age groups and abilities, through popular characters such as Maisy, Judy Moody and Alex Rider.
Games can be played on the computer or activities can be downloaded and printed out.
This is a site run by the National Literacy Trust to develop literacy by providing tips and information as well as lots of fun activities to do with your child to help develop communication skills.
This is a free lending library for people with visual impairment.
Information for Individual Classes
Useful activities to do with your child include practicing pencil control, colouring winter pictures, writing their name, identifying colours around the home or in the environment, identifying animals and animal sounds, doing jigsaws and reading books together.
Interactive games can be found at Poisson Rouge. Although it is a French site so some of the songs are in French, it is mainly a visual experience and well worth exploring.

Counton – Lots of maths games, including a particular favourite, ‘Who wants to be a Mathonaire?’ with Chris Tangent!
Skillstrainer – Timed online tests to practice basic arithmetic skills.
nrich maths – Produced by Cambridge University. Lots of challenges for mathematicians. Levels 1 and 2 are the most suitable so choose ‘Primary’ from the tabs at the top and then ‘Games and Interactives’ or ‘Be a Mathematician’ from the choices on the right hand side.
Crickweb – Lots of fun activities to try.
Woodlands – Lots of fun things such as football maths!
Top Marks – Choose ‘Learning Games’ or search the site
L6 enjoy using ideas from Activity Village.
