Useful activities to do with your child include practicing pencil control, colouring winter pictures, writing their name, identifying colours around the home or in the environment, identifying animals and animal sounds, doing jigsaws and reading books together.
Interactive games can be found at Poisson Rouge. Although it is a French site so some of the songs are in French, it is mainly a visual experience and well worth exploring.

nrich maths – Produced by Cambridge University. Lots of challenges for mathematicians. Levels 1 and 2 are the most suitable so choose ‘Primary’ from the tabs at the top and then ‘Games and Interactives’ or ‘Be a Mathematician’ from the choices on the right hand side.
